Austin Community Growth Ventures
Austin Community Growth Ventures (ACGV) was established as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Development Corporation of Austin with the overall goal to promote, encourage, and aid in the creation of an innovative ecosystem that supports education, creates quality jobs, and increases the new application of biotechnology, agircultural technology, and food science. ACGV will serve as a key facilitator in affording early stage companies and developed companies a chance to succeed by providing education and training in idea development assistance, patent submission, business planning assistance, and financing.
What ACGV Offer the Ecosystem:
Events: We host and co-host events supporting entreprenuers in the Austin community and the region.
Space: Launch Coworking Space serves as permanent or temporary home and meeting place to businesses throughout the region.
Innovation Competition (forthcoming)
Facilitating Greater Minnesota Coworking Space Passport (to be announced).
Facilitating region-wide entrepreneurial and coworking space communication platforms.
Conduit to Austin Angel Angels network (to be announced).
Design Sprint facilitation and training by certified instructor.
ACGV's Contributions to the Launch Grant:
Space for events and education. -One-on-one coaching and mentorship.
Stong connections to the Hormel Institute, Riverland Community College, and other local corporations, businesses, and organizations.
